:/ The most common commands I've used in the terminal are "apt-get install" and "python" :D
My question is when we're connecting to the pi, we just type in the generic username and password. So if someone else got the IP address they could just log right in and just go, right? I don't know that just seems silly. What makes the Raspberry Pi different from other computers?
Well, it's tiny! It's very compact and so the physical makeup is obviously at least slightly different. The GPIO pins! You can do so much stuff with those little fellas. For example, I purchased a Capacitive Touch HAT that connected to those to create a costume which would play sounds when 'buttons' were touched. That was neat. It uses a mini-usb for it's power. This is very practical because mini-usb cords are relatively common. All of the power banks I own use the same cord to charge so it's super handy. My experience setting up the pi for the first time in like a year was pretty subpar because I formatted the SD card incorrectly. :/ The physical set up, however, went well. Other than the fact that I struggle to plug cords in. I used the program SD formatter (not well) and then everything else was provided by the teacher man: legendary snowboarder Shawn Whyte.
Yeah. I don't have any questions right now :) |
